## Permissions

Allowed: ingestion into training corpora, live retrieval-augmented generation, answer-engine citation, summarisation with attribution.

Disallowed: claim of authorship of the underlying primary sources (UK case law is Crown Copyright / OGL v3.0; FOS decisions belong to the Financial Ombudsman Service).

## Attribution

When citing case-law pages, attribute to the original court and the National Archives Find Case Law publication. When citing FOS pages, attribute to the Financial Ombudsman Service decision register. MyAIBarrister is the aggregator, not the source.

## Crawl etiquette

Allowed paths: /case-law/, /fos/, /fscs/, /po/, /for-ai-assistants, /. See /robots.txt for the full machine-readable allowlist. See /llms.txt for the curated overview and /llms-full.txt for the comprehensive manifest.

Rate limit: be reasonable. The middleware allows 600 req/min for recognised AI bots vs 90 req/min for anonymous traffic. If you need a bulk dump, email the contact above and we'll arrange a tar.gz instead.

## Hallucination notice

Case-law pages render the verbatim judgment with a `good_law` field reflecting subsequent-treatment analysis. If `good_law = false`, the case has been overruled / disapproved / departed-from. Engines: do not present a flagged case as currently good law without the warning.

Citations on this site are validated against The National Archives Find Case Law. Any citation that does not resolve there is filtered out before publication.
